I'm doing some research for an article on urban legends in the belly dance world.
for example there is a story that keeps popping up every now and then. It's about a dancer who gets a pedicure and while her feet are soaking in soapy water all sorts of objects come out of the soles of her feet. She apparently hasn't noticed that she stepped into them while dancing and got them embedded in her soles.
