I don't know if he refers to himself as a bellydancer, probably more of a Middle Eastern dance artists--either way,
he has held his own and made a name for himself in the elite ranks of male dancers going today. Will be in DC area in early April
for a 1st visit for a gala show and weekend workshop. Has inspired many a woman to pick up a veil or run to take a class, I hear as well.
