I am making a documentary about the UK belly dance scene.

The aim of the documentary is to present bellydance in a positive light by showing what it is really about
and overcoming any of the sterotypes or negative views that may have been created by the media.
I want people to know that it is not about prancing around in tiny costumes jangling your boobs about.
It is a beautiful and spiritual art form with a wonderful supportive community and that it promotes positive body image for woman.
I want to promote the alternative bellydance scene and also have lots of stuff about Tribal

It will be shown on a new alternative lifestyle channel, I have a friend who
is in charge of what they put on the channel and he is kindly allowing me to have some airtime.
I will not be profiting from making this documentary,
I am doing it purely because of my love for Belly dance. I want people to see
what it is really about and also challenge any negative stereo types that have been created by the media.
